About Arrows International
Founded in 1965 as 'Arrows Disco' by Ivan 'Sonny' Linton, Phillip 'Bilbo' Linton, and Robert 'RO' Johnson (the name 'Arrows' derived from 'RO'). Became 'Arrows International' in 1974 after becoming the first Jamaican sound to travel to the USA. Also called 'Arrows the Ambassador' after their 1975 USA tour. Featured legendary DJs Captain Sinbad, Beenie Man, Cutty Ranks, and Professor Nuts. Their signature sound was created by technician Aston 'Soul King' Lindo.
