LP International

LP International (Luv People) was founded in 1982 by Collin "Puma" Abrahams when he arrived in New York from Jamaica. LP became a cornerstone of the NYC sound fraternity, based in Brooklyn. Their signature dubplates and distinctive mic style reflect both Jamaican authenticity and New York's cosmopolitan edge. By the early 1990s, LP was clashing and touring alongside the biggest names, often representing New York abroad in major clash events at venues like the legendary Biltmore Ballroom in Flatbush - the epicenter of NYC dancehall culture.
